Start of the Erasmus+ project coordination

At UL, Faculty of Social Sciences, Centre for Social Informatics we have initiated the coordination of the Erasmus+ project. The project "Building teachers competence about cyber violence against girls" (CYBERVAG MOOC) is coordinated by the researcher Barbara Brečko, PhD. The project involves six other partners from five European countries (Greece, Netherlands, Denmark, Estonia and United Kingdom).

The "main objective of the project is to bring together experts in the field of online violence and gender inequalities to develop educational materials for educators/school staff/professionals working with young people".

The project partners will conduct a representative school survey on online violence in schools in four EU countries. Teachers and other school professionals will be supported with new innovative approaches to teaching. The partners will also develop an e-learning course (MMOC) with curriculum and build a OER platform with open source materials.
