Safe.si participated in the European Commission Digital Services Act Stakeholder Event
The European Commission organised a one-day conference in Brussels on the new Digital Service Act (DSA), with guest speakers including
Marko Puschner, a member of the
Safe.si Awareness Centre, part of the Safer Internet Centre project.
Invited by the European Commission, Puschner participated as a speaker on the opening panel "
Is social media negatively impacting young people's wellbeing and how should platforms address this issue?". He presented one of the awareness-raising campaigns carried out by Safe.si on the impact of the internet on children's mental health. The conference was attended by approximately 2,000 participants; 500 of them in person in the auditorium and 1,500 online. The majority of participants came from various companies and the public sector, and representatives of various online platforms were also present.
