Safe.SI educational seminar for schools: What’s new in the field of (safe) use of technologies, harmful online content and risky behaviors online?
On Safer Internet Day, 6 February 2018, the Safe.si awareness centre organised a free educational seminar for teachers, principals and other school workers with the aim of providing information about advances in the safe use of modern technologies in schools, harmful online content and risky behaviour online. The seminar, ‘What's new in the field of (safe) use of technologies, harmful online content and risky behaviour online?’, was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia in Ljubljana.
At the seminar, several guest speakers provided an overview of the latest content-related risks and traps that we encounter in the use of internet technologies, both inside and outside of school, and with possible forms of prevention. Particular emphasis was placed on discussing the influence that the media have on young people, especially in terms of the risky behaviours that they encourage.
Recordings of all lectures are available at the following link: https://safe.si/video/video-predavanja.
