Members of CSI published an article in the journal Teorija in praksa
Jošt Bartol, Dr. Vasja Vehovar and Dr. Andraž Petrovčič, members of the Centre for Social Informatics, published a review article entitled “Information privacy concerns on the internet: Conceptual foundations and research challenges” in the journal Teorija in praksa.
In the article, which is available only in Slovenian, the authors address the problems associated with research on information privacy on the internet and present one of the key concepts in the field, namely information privacy concerns. They describe the evolution of this concept, its conceptual foundations, and discuss current research challenges. The article is a good entry point for social scientists, professionals, or students who want to get a comprehensive overview of research about information privacy on the internet.
The study was conducted as part of Jošt Bartol's Young Researcher fellowship, funded by the Slovenian Research Agency of the Republic of Slovenia, and co-funded from the research project J5-2558 (The Implications of Proxy Internet Use for the Internet Skills of Older Adults) and the research program P5-0399 (Internet research).
