Last PRGA event and closing event of the ITHACA project
Between 5 and 7 July, the fourth and final Peer Review Assessment Event (PRGA) of the ITHACA (Interreg Europe) project took place in Mannheim, Germany, in a joint event with the project's closing meeting. The ITHACA project, which ran from 2017 to 2021, was extended last year for an additional year, with the project partners focusing on solutions, innovations and good practices in health and social care that have emerged or been stimulated by the Covid-19 epidemic.
The event was attended by representatives of the Centre for Social Informatics, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, Vesna Dolničar, PhD and Mojca Šetinc, together with the stakeholder Gregor Cuzak (Association of Patients' Organisations of Slovenia). Representatives of the host region Baden Württemberg and guests presented innovative digital solutions in health care and social care from the Covid-19 epidemic, which have facilitated the work of employees in this field, while at the same time contributing significantly to the quality of life of their users. Some of the solutions in the field of process digitisation and business process support during the epidemic were also presented. The partners concluded the event and the very successful six years of joint work with the wish to meet again soon to prepare new project applications.
