Kick-off meeting of the project D-CARE
On October 1 and 9, 2020, the kick-off meeting of the project D-CARE (Interreg Danube), which started on July 1, 2020, was held. Due to the epidemiological situation, the meeting was moved online. During the meeting, the partners of the project, led by the University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Iuliu Hateganu" from the Romanian city Cluj Napoca, presented the work of their organizations and learned more about the activities of the project D-CARE.
The project focuses on strengthening the field of smart care and smart health. One of the main activities is the networking of stakeholders from all nine partner countries (Romania, Hungary, Czech Republic, Germany, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Moldova). The project partners together with the stakeholders will create innovative learning environments and training programs where knowledge exchange on smart care and smart health will take place. Pilot testing of solutions will also take place as part of the project activities. Good practices identified during the project period will be presented to decision makers.
The meeting was attended by: members of the Center for Social Informatics Lea Lebar (head of the project at UL) and Mojca Šetinc and Vika Pušnik from the Office for International Research Projects. The meeting ended in a positive spirit that the partners will get a chance to meet in person soon.
