Guest lectures of prof. dr. Michael Bosnjak from ZPID, University of Trier


Centre for Social Informatics (CDI) hosted prof. dr. Michael Bosnjak (director of ZPID - Leibniz Institute for Psychology Information and Full Professor at the University of Trier) on April 17 and 18 in cooperation with University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Social Sciences and Faculty of Mathematics and Physics. Prof. Bosnjak gave a series of lectures on meta-analysis within the course New developments in statistics (University of Ljubljana’s interdisciplinary doctoral program of Statistics). Prof. Bosnjak is a longtime colleague of CDI and his research interests include research synthesis methods, consumer/business psychology, and survey methodology. During his visit we also organized a meeting with members of CDI, where we discussed future collaboration in the area of scientific publications and mutual international visits of researchers from CDI as well as ZPID.
