Final ITHACA stakeholders meeting


On Tuesday, June 14, the final meeting of the Slovenian stakeholders of the Interreg Europe ITHACA project took place. The meeting, which lasted for an hour and a half, was held via ZOOM. The aim of the meeting, to which selected key stakeholders were invited, was to present Slovenian best practices in the field of e-health and e-care, focusing on the development of services during COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition to the presentations of the projects ITHACA and D-CARE (Interreg Danube) and selected results of the projects and selected results of the project of the Center for Social Informatics (CSI) of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Ljubljana in the field of (non-)adoption of e-care and e-health services, which was prepared by CSI members assoc. prof. Vesna Dolničar, PhD, assist. prof. Simona Hvalič Touzery, PhD, Mojca Šetinc, Lea Lebar and external collaborator Janja Drole, other speakers also had their say. Igor Zorko, representative of the Strategic Council for Digitisation (SCD), presented the strategic objectives and actions of the SCD. Martina Kutnar presented the Age-friendly Strategy and activities in the municipality of Medvode. The representative of the University Clinical Centre Ljubljana, assist. Dominika Oroszy, MD, presented the Ecosystem of telemedicine activities from the time of the COVID-19 pandemic. Her presentation was complemented by the results of the survey on satisfaction of COVID-19 patients with telemedicine treatment by CSI member, Lea Lebar. The use of telemedicine for patients with COVID-19 at the CEZAR Telemedicine Centre of Slovenj Gradec Hospital was presented by Drago Rudel, PhD. The event was concluded with a presentation of the project E-care for a safe stay at home by the representative of Telekom Slovenije, M. Sc. Peter Pustatičnik.

The meeting was attended by 32 stakeholders. In addition to the aforementioned, representatives of the following organisations also participated the event: Development Centre of the Heart of Slovenia; List; Public Institute Sotočje Medvode; National Institute of Public Health; Information Research Institute for Education and Counselling; Association of Pensioners' Associations of Slovenia; Municipality of Škofja Loka; Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities; Municipality of Ilirska Bistrica; Ljubljana Technology Park; RRA Zeleni kras; Institute of Social Care of the Republic of Slovenia, Nova Vizija, Simbioza, Caretronik and the Ministry of Health.
