Fifth EEPE event of the Interreg Europe project ITHACA
On 3rd and 4th of July the fifth of nine Exchange of Experience and Peer Evaluation (EEPE) events took place in Stuttgart, Germany (state Baden-Württemberg). EEPE was attended by Mojca Šetinc from the Centre for Social Informatics (CSI), and three representatives of the stakeholders – Amalija Šiftar from Slovene Federation of Pensioners’ Associations, Mateja Nagode from Social Protection Institute of the Republic of Slovenia, and Dalibor Gavrić from Health Insurance Institute of Slovenia.
In the morning of the first day, the delegations were given a thorough explanation of different challenges that the Province of Baden-Württemberg has. The day continued in the LebensPhasenHaus with presentation of projects which are trying to implement a bottom-up approach based on the citizens’ needs, and later the delegation members got the opportunity to have a coffee and a more in-depth talk with the managers of those projects.
Second day begun with a trip to the Mercedes-Benz museum. Later, delegation moved to co-working space and event venue WizeMannSpace, which resides in an old factory building, which, like many others, have been converted into a creative hub, to learn how innovative solutions make it into the health system.
Here the feedback session also took place, with participation of the director of Ministry of Social Affairs and Integration, Christine Engelhardt.
