Dr. Sakari Taipale published a chapter in a monograph

Dr. Sakari Taipale of the University of Jyväskylä and member of the Centre for Social Informatics at UL, Faculty of Social Sciences, has published a chapter "Digital skills and application use among Finnish home care workers in the eldercare sector" in the monograph "Digital transformations in care for older people." The monograph was published by Taylor & Francis and explores "digitalization in care for older people by giving insight into service users' and professionals' opportunities."

The chapter, co-authored by Dr. Sakari Taipale, "explores the role digital skills, interest in technology, and social support have in home care workers' use of digital applications at work".
