Simona Hvalič Touzery, PhD, Kaja Smole Orehek and Vesna Dolničar, PhD, members of the Centre for Social Informatics, published an article »Exploring the Reciprocity of Telecare Perception Within the Dyad of Informal Carers and Care Receivers« in the journal Teorija in praksa (Theory and Practice). The paper draws on qualitative data gathered from informal carers to explore the reciprocity of telecare perceptions within the dyad of informal carers and care receivers. A four-month intervention study was conducted from 2018 to 2019 in the Central Slovenia region. A purposive sample of 22 older adults and their informal carers tested two telecare solutions. The study confirms that a dyadic interdependence in telecare perception exists.
