CSI Hosted an Italian Statistics Student for an Erasmus Internship

In the first half of 2026, Enrico D’Orso, an Italian statistics student from the University of Naples Federico II, completed an Erasmus internship at the Centre for Social Informatics. His work focused on analyzing non-response bias in probabilistic online panels as part of the TAP project “Assessing and Modelling Unit Nonresponse Bias in Probability-Based Web Surveys” (J5-50159). He focused primarily on data from the Dutch online panel LISS, addressing data preparation, data linking, weighting, and the modeling of non-response bias.
