Consultation on the topic of hate speech on Radio-television Slovenia

In October 2018 coordinator of the hotline Spletno oko (Univerza v Ljubljani, Fakulteta za družbene vede, Center za družboslovno informatiko)  Andrej Motl participated at a discussion on spreading of hate speech and fake news with several experts organized by the Radio-television Slovenia. With this dialogue, they tried to shed some light on what is and what is not hate speech, when the right of freedom of speech is being abused and how to tackle the problem of fake news. The discission was attended by experts from various backgrounds. It confirmed that views and on the issues differ greatly.
