CDI members participated at the 6th International PhD Conference, Ljubljana - Graz - Rijeka
On October 27.–28., University of Ljubljana hosted the Sixth international doctoral conference, Ljubljana - Graz - Rijeka, in cooperation with the University of Graz and the University of Rijeka. This year' s conference, which focused on digitalization in science and society, allowed students from three universities to meet and share knowledge and experience.

An article on Health Informatics and Social informatics in the Journal of Medical Internet Research
Vasja Vehovar, PhD, a member of the Centre for Social Informatics, and Zdenek Smutný of the Prague University of Economics and Business published an article in the scientific Journal of Medical Internet Research. In the article, "On the Current Connection and Relation Between Health Informatics and Social Informatics", they distinguish the importance of social informatics and health informatics.

Dr. Katja Prevodnik, Dr. Marina Trkman, Jošt Bartol, and Dr. Andraž Petrovčič, researchers at the Centre for Social Informatics, have published an original research article titled “An Assessment of the Structural Validity and Measurement Invariance of the Web-Use Skills Scale for Aging Internet Users” in Cyberpsychology, Behavior, and Social Networking, a top-tier journal in the field of psychology and Internet studies.

CSI participated in Applied Statistics 2022 and hosted prof. Donald B. Rubin
Prof. Vasja Vehovar, PhD and Gregor Čehovin, PhD of Centre for Social Informatics (CSI) participated in the 18th International Conference on Applied Statistics, held at the Faculty of Social Sciences on September 19–21, 2022. At the conference, they presented the paper “Online survey panels in modern social science research: Can nonprobability sampling replace probability sampling?” The presentation included a summary of global meta-studies on nonprobability online panels and two case studies from Slovenia.
