Pedro Manuel Martinez Monje, PhD and senior lecturer at the University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (UPV/EHU) in Spain, completed a stay at the Centre for Social Informatics.

During Safer Internet Day 2023, which was celebrated on February 7th, the Safe.si Internet Safety Awareness Point, which is part of the Centre for Social Informatics, drew attention to the problem of inappropriate online content that has a negative impact on adolescents.

Kaja Smole Orehek, a member of Centre for Social Informatics, successfully completed doctoral programme in the Humanities and Social Sciences and the young researcher training financed by Slovenian Research Agency.

Štěpán Žádník visited the Centre for Social Informatics (CSI) between February and August 2022 as a doctoral student at the Masaryk University (Brno, Czech Republic). During his stay at CSI, he worked on his dissertation thesis under guidance of Dr. Andraž Petrovčič.

On Wednesday, 7. 12. 2022, the Faculty of Social Sciences hosted a roundtable on career paths of Social Informatics graduates, organized by the DID Student Society and the Chair of Social Informatics and Methodology in collaboration with four distinguished alumni of the programme.

Andreja Praček, a member of the Centre for Social Informatics, is one of the recipients of the Faculty's Award for the Best Academic Performance at the post-graduate level.

On December 1, 2022, an international meeting of the partners of the project D-CARE (Interreg Danube) was organised by the representatives of the Centre for Social Informatics: Lea Lebar (project head) and Mojca Šetinc, together with the external collaborator Janja Drole.

Jerneja Laznik presented a paper written by members of the Centre for Social Informatics in collaboration with Štěpán Žádník (University of Brno, Czech Republic), at the Annual scientific meeting of the Gerontological Society of America (GSA22), held from 2 to 6 November 2022 in Indianapolis, USA.
