Dr. Sakari Taipale's book: "Intergenerational Connections in Digital Families"
Dr. Sakari Taipale, a Senior Research Associate at the Centre for Social Informatics, University of Ljubljana, whose primary position is at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland, has written a book Intergenerational Connections in Digital Families. The book illustrates how everyday family life gets digitalized in three European countries. It looks into the relationships between different generations from the technology use perspective in Finland, Italy and Slovenia. The Slovenian data was gathered with help of the student and Associete Professor Vesna Dolničar at FDV.

New scientific publication “Meta-Analyses in Survey Methodology: A Systematic Review”
Gregor Čehovin, assoc. prof. Katja Lozar Manfreda (Centre for Social Informatics) and prof. Michael Bosnjak (ZPID - Leibniz Institute for Psychology Information, University of Trier) coauthored a scientific article, which is titled “Meta-Analyses in Survey Methodology: A Systematic Review” (in press) and is currently available in advance access format from Public Opinion Quarterly.

New scientific publication of the CSI members
Members of the Centre for the Social Informatics (CSI), Vesna Dolničar, PhD, Andraž Petrovčič, PhD, Tomaž Burnik and Mojca Šetinc are authors of the new scientific article published in International Journal of Rehabilitation Research. In the article, authors presented the results of the randomized crossover experiment involving 50 older smartphone users, aged 60 years and above which was guided by the principles of summative usability testing.

Darja Grošelj, PhD, member of the Centre for the Social Informatics (CSI) at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Social Sciences, has published a chapter entitled Digital Divides, Usability, and Social Inclusion: Evidence From the Field of E-Services in the United Kingdom in a monograph Social Inclusion and Usability of ICT-Enabled Services.
