First EEPE event of the Interreg Europe project ITHACA
On 4th and 5th of April the first of nine Exchange of Experience and Peer Evaluation (EEPE) events took place in Liverpool. EEPE events focus on the host region’s strategies, policy framework and ecosystem for scaling up smart health and care solutions and its methods, resources, track record, plans, results and experiences across the innovation cycle.

Gregor Čehovin presented a paper on survey breakoffs at GOR 2017 conference
Gregor Čehovin from the Centre for Social Informatics attended the General Online Reearch (GOR) 2017 conference. During the C11 session, he presented the paper titled Implications of disposition codes for monitoring breakoffs in web surveys, which was prepared together with prof. Vasja Vehovar, PhD.

Guest lectures of prof. dr. Michael Bosnjak from Gesis
Centre for social informatics (CDI) in cooperation with the Faculty of mathematics and physics hosted prof. dr. Michael Bosnjak between 8 and 9 March, who for the second consecutive year gave lectures on meta-analysis to doctoral students. Prof. Bosnjak is a longtime colleague of CDI and one of the pioneers of web survey methodology.

Launch of the Interreg Europe project ITHACA and first project partners' meeting
Between 18 and 19 January 2017, Denmark hosted the first project partners' meeting of the Interreg Europe project ITHACA (InnovaTion in Health And Care for All). The project involves nine European regions with the shared ambition of accelerating the scaling up of smart health and care innovation that can support active and healthy living and secure the triple win of economic growth, more sustainable health and care systems as well as the improved well-being of Europe’s citizens.
