CSI researchers presenting at HCII 2017

Andraž Petrovčič, PhD, and Vesna Dolničar, PhD, attended the 19th International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction (HCII 2017) that took place in Vancouver, Canada, from 9-14 July 2017. HCII2017 is the largest international forum for the dissemination and exchange of up-to-date scientific information on theoretical, generic and applied areas of HCI.

Kick-off of JUST project "Click-off! Stop cyber violence against women and girls"

In July 2017, the JUST project"Click-off! Stop cyber violence against women and girls" was lunched. The project is co-financed by the EC Directorate - General Justice and Consumers and coordinated by the Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities of the Republic of Slovenia. The University of Ljubljana Faculty of Social Sciences participates in the project as partner.

The first national stakeholders' meeting of the Interreg Europe ITHACA project

The first national stakeholders' meeting of the Interreg Europe ITHACA project was held at the Faculty of Social Sciences on 22 June 2017. ITHACA involves nine EU regions with a shared ambition of accelerating the scaling up of smart health and care innovation that can support active and healthy living and secure the triple win of economic growth, more sustainable health and care systems as well as the improved wellbeing of Europe’s citizens.

Vasja Vehovar, PhD and Katja Lozar Manfreda, PhD has been published in a handbook of online research methods by a recognized international publisher Sage. It gives an overview of a rapid expansion of online surveys and deals with their methodological issues.
