Jošt Bartol, Dr. Vasja Vehovar and Dr. Andraž Petrovčič, members of the Centre for Social Informatics, published a review article entitled “Information privacy concerns on the internet: Conceptual foundations and research challenges” in the journal Teorija in praksa.

Dr. Sakari Taipale, a member of the Centre for Social Informatics, has published a new article in the International Journal of Social Robotics. In the article “Positive Turn in Elder-Care Workers" Views Toward Telecare Robots” the survey data from 2020 Finnish elderly care workers is presented.

Dr. Sakari Taipale of the University of Jyväskylä and member of the Centre for Social Informatics at UL, Faculty of Social Sciences, has published a chapter "Digital skills and application use among Finnish home care workers in the eldercare sector" in the monograph "Digital transformations in care for older people."

Dr. Vasja Vehovar, a member of the Centre for Social Informatics, and Dr. Dejan Jontes, from the Research Centre for the Terminology of Social Sciences and Journalism, have published an article "Hateful and Other Negative Communication in Online Commenting Environments: Content, Structure and Targets" in the journal Acta Informatica Pragensia.

The research group of the Centre for Social Informatics (CDI) with dr. Andraž Petrovčič, dr. Katja Prevodnik, and dr. Darja Grošelj, in collaboration with with dr. Bianca C. Reisdorf (Department of Communication Studies, University of North Carolina at Charlotte, USA) published an article in the journal Computers in Human Behavior, titled »The role of proxy internet use in sequential pathways of digital exclusion: An empirical test of a conceptual model«.

Dr. Barbara N. Brečko, a member of the Center for Social Informatics, and Dr. Tanja Oblak Črnič, a member of the Center for Social Communication Research, published an article in the journal Information, Communication & Society entitled "Enhancing sociality, self-presentation, and play: a case study of digital scenarios among schoolchildren in an epidemic context."

Darja Grošelj, PhD, a member of the Centre for Social Informatics, FDV UL, published an article Re-domestication of Internet Technologies: Digital Exclusion or Digital Choice? in the Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication. The article explores the changing nature of internet access by focusing on social practices that shape the position and role of internet technologies in everyday internet use.

Simona Hvalič Touzery, PhD, Kaja Smole Orehek and Vesna Dolničar, PhD, members of the Centre for Social Informatics, published an article »Exploring the Reciprocity of Telecare Perception Within the Dyad of Informal Carers and Care Receivers« in the journal Teorija in praksa (Theory and Practice).

The young researcher Natalija Rebrica, a member of the Centre for Social Informatics from the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, co-authored with dr. Uršo Golob Podnar published an original scientific article in the journal Akademija MM entitled "The influence of consumer engagement on social media brand profiles on attitude towards the brand, referrals, and purchase intention".

Sakari Taipale, PhD, a member of the Centre for Social Informatics, together with Riitta Haenninen, Laura Pajula, Viivi Korpela published an article "Individual and shared digital repertoires - older adults managing digital services" in the journal Information, Communication & Society.
