A Chinese translation of Web Survey Methodology has been published.

In the first half of 2026, Enrico D’Orso, an Italian statistics student from the University of Naples Federico II, completed an Erasmus internship at the Centre for Social Informatics.

On Tuesday, 2 June 2026, Dr. Jošt Bartol received his PhD diploma charter at the Public conferment ceremony for Doctors of Science of the University of Ljubljana.

At the Research Day of the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, held on Wednesday, 27 May, Simona Hvalič Touzery, PhD, from the Centre for Social Informatics presented the centre’s research work on social robots in healthcare and long-term care of older adults.

The Faculty of Social Sciences will participate in a new Interreg Central Europe project entitled HealthBridgeCE – Bridging Digital Health Solutions Across Central Europe. The project will be led by Simona Hvalič Touzery, PhD, from the Centre for Social Informatics.

The article, “Pre-use acceptability of telemedicine among nursing students: a quantitative cross-sectional study”, was authored by CSI members Simona Hvalič-Touzery, PhD, Jerneja Laznik, Mojca Šetinc and Vesna Dolničar, PhD, in collaboration with Angela Kydd, PhD and Nejc Berzelak, PhD.

Dr. Jošt Bartol, Laura Fatur, and Dr. Andraž Petrovčič have published an original research article titled “Perceived Corporate and Peer Surveillance on the Internet: Scale Development and Validation”.

Dr. Andraž Petrovčič and Dr. Jošt Bartol attended the 15th regular meeting of the Advisory Committee on Digital Society at the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia (SURS), representing University of Ljubljana.

The chapter was authored by Lea Lebar, PhD, Vesna Dolničar, PhD, and Simona Hvalič-Touzery, PhD, from the Centre for Social Informatics and Mateja Nagode, MSc, from the Directorate for Older People, Long-Term Care and Deinstitutionalisation at the Ministry for a Solidary Future.

The 2nd Survey Methodology Summer School 2026 jointly organised by the European Survey Research Association (ESRA) and the Centre for Social Informatics will take place in July 2026 at the University of Ljubljana, Ljubljana, Slovenia.
