The 2nd Survey Methodology Summer School 2026 jointly organised by the European Survey Research Association (ESRA) and the Centre for Social Informatics will take place in July 2026 at the University of Ljubljana, Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Izidor Natek, dr. Vesna Dolničar and dr. Simona Hvalič Touzery have published an original scientific article titled “Perceptions of Telecare and Care Burden Among Informal Caregivers of Older Adults With and Without Dementia”.

The Centre for Social Informatics has been awarded funding for a three-year research project titled Socially Assistive Robots in Elder Care: Acceptance, Ageism, Affordability and Implications of its Use, financed by the Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency (ARIS).

Dr. Lea Lebar, Izidor Natek, dr. Simona Hvalič Touzery and dr. Vesna Dolničar, in collaboration with Dr. Jeffrey W. Jutai, have published an original scientific article titled “Evaluating the psychosocial impacts of e-care use among older people receiving long-term care in Slovenia through the adapted PIADS-10 scale”.
