A new publication by the members of CMI in a recognized international journal

Members of the Centre for Methodology and Informatics, doc. dr. Marjan Cugmas and prof. dr. Aleš Žiberna published a scientific article entitled “Approaches to blockmodeling dynamic networks: A Monte Carlo simulation study” in the prestigious international journal Social Networks. In the article, they presented the results of a project in which they compared the performance of different methods for blockmodeling temporal networks using simulations. The term blockmodeling encompasses approaches that aim to simplify complex networks by considering the similarity of nodes in terms of the pattern of their links.
