Prof. Dr. Petrič on personalized algorithms on social media
In an article published on the N1 Slovenia portal, the head of the center, Prof. Dr. Petrič, spoke about algorithms on social media that are based on offering content tailored to the user's preferences. This creates a bubble in which the content aligns with what the user likes and reinforces their feelings. As a result, this leads to a one-sided perception of opinions, with reduced exposure to diverse information and people with different beliefs, which hinders constructive communication and fosters social conflict.

In January, another article titled Artificial Intelligence Has Become an Inevitable Part of the Educational System was published in Mladina, summarizing the findings of a study on AI use among students, conducted at CMI.
