New Publication: Research Article about the Common Agricultural Policy (Authors: Marko Lovec, Ilona Rac and Emil Erjavec)

Assoc. prof. dr. Marko Lovec (from CIR), Ilona Rac and prof. dr. Emil Erjavec (both from the Biotechnical Faculty at the University of Ljubljana) published a research article titled 'External shocks, policy spillovers, and veto players: (post)exceptionalist common agricultural policy and the case of the 2023-2027 reform' in the Journal of European Integration.

The authors show that the rules and decision-making procedures following the adoption of the Lisbon Treaty slow down the adaptation of distributional policies to changing contexts and societal expectations, in the case of the impact of Brexit and the European Green Plan on the CAP 2023-2027.
