Maja Bučar on the Effect of Climate Change on Human Rights for Studio at 17h

On 10 December 2020, prof. dr. Maja Bučar participated in a radio show on the impact of climate change on human rights at the national radio station Radio Prvi. Together with the show host Petra Novak, Živa Kavka Gobbo from Fokus and dr. Luka Omladič from the Institute for applied ethics (Inštitut za aplikativno etiko) she highlited that living in safe and healthy environments is one of the human rights.

The panelists also stressed that climate change affects the poorest inhabitants of the World the most, but that these individuals often remain unheard. They addressed the pressure created by climate catastrophes on environmental migration as well.
