Journal of International Relations and Development (JIRD) – a Global Journal with Regional Roots
JIRD is an independent and internationally peer-reviewed journal in international relations and international political economy, published by CIR and Palgrave.
The journal, whose history goes back to 1984, was originally established to encourage scholarly publications by authors coming from Central/Eastern Europe. In the late 1990s the journal was refounded as the official journal of the Central and East European International Studies Association (CEEISA), implementing a rigorous peer-review system and opening its pages to submissions from all scholars, regardless of regional affiliation.
JIRD seeks original manuscripts that provide theoretically informed empirical analyses of issues in international relations and international political economy, as well as original theoretical or conceptual analyses.
