Faris Kočan at Studio at 17.00 on the 25th Anniversary of the Dayton Peace Agreement
On Monday, 14 December 2020, assist. Faris Kočan, a member of the Centre of International Relations, participated in the radio show Studio at 17.00 (slo. Studio ob 17h) on the topic of the 25th anniversary of the Dayton Peace Agreement. Together with prof. dr. Božo Repe, a historian from the Faculty of Arts, and prof. dr. Mitja Žagar, a law professor from the Institute for Ethnic Studies, assist. Kočan spoke about the importance of the Dayton Peace Agreement in the context of post-conflict Bosnia and Herzegovina. The participants discussed the reasons for the start of the Bosnian war in 1992, the importance of the International Community’s constitutional reform efforts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the limits of the Dayton Peace Agreement and the possibility of lasting solution in Bosnia and Herzegovina through functional cooperation between the three constituent peoples.
