Youth 2020 is a national survey of young people aged 15-29 in Slovenia. The survey is largely based on the previous Youth 2010 and Youth 2000 surveys. The researchers collected part of the data in the field, and due to the restrictions to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic, the other part of the data was collected using the Zoom video communication application. The survey covers 1200 units and addresses the situation of young people in a comprehensive way, covering all key areas of young people's lives. The main purpose of the survey is to support public policy-making in the field of youth. The survey has been accompanied by recommendations that can serve as a starting point for action. The data from the survey are available in the Slovenian Social Science Data Archives only on request, while data from previous iterations are accessible to a wider audience.
The research was funded by the Slovenian Office for Youth and conducted by researchers from the Faculty of Arts, University of Maribor and the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana.
More information on the survey is available in the ADP Catalogue.
