The European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) of the Council of Europe recommends carrying out user satisfaction surveys as one of the ways to determine the quality of the administration of justice. For this purpose, the Supreme Court implemented large-scale study, taking into account international recommendations and specificities of the Slovenian judicial system. The aim of the research was to determine the satisfaction and motivation of employees in Slovenian courts, including their satisfaction with workplace conditions, interpersonal relationships, and career development opportunities. The original data of the research are kept by the Supreme Court of the Republic of Slovenia.
The survey was conducted among employees of Slovenian courts, using a web-based questionnaire in application 1KA. Data was collected by Public Opinion Research Centre ZRS Koper. Out of 4,093 employees, as of September 30, 2017, 1,242 employees partially or fully completed the questionnaire.
