The subject has the two fundamental goals: to provide current use of economic language as well as to recognise the elements and capabilities of decision making in a dynamic and uncertain organisational environment. Thereby, it is leaning on useful form of microeconomic theory, i.e. its applicability when stressing the concrete organisational problems. The subject offers knowledge needed in order to understand organisational environments and their interacions with an organisation, to stress organisation's status and its environment and decision making in different bussiness circumstances as well. The subject explains the link between organisational structure and organisational strategy, thereby creating the basis for recognizing the influence of organisational structure on business effectiveness, on stategic organisational goals realising, and on enabling the initiatives for stakeholders behaviour in an organisation, which is in accordance with its goals.
