Basic methdodological approaches/paradigms (positivism, interpretative approach, critical approach, postmodernism), research designs and research process in qualitative research, ethics in scientific research, sampling in qualitative research, fieldwork (the logic of fieldwork, selection and access to the field, relationships in the field, the role of the researcher), the most important methods/strategies of data collection (participant observation, different kinds of interview, focus groups, visual methods, analysis of documents, case study), data analysis methods (analytical methods, coding and formulation of concepts, analytical strategies, other techniques), discourse analysis, comparative evaluation of advantages and disadvantages of qualitative and quantitative methodologies, data quality, software for qualitative data analysis (e.g., Atlas.ti). New technologies in qualitative research, special features of new technologies in conceptualization, planning and their use in qualitative research. Qualitative methods on internet (online interviews and focus groups, (participant) observational techniques on internet, analysis of documents on internet).
