Definition of information systems; steps in development of information systems: design, analysis, development, testing, updating; automatization of development: methods for modelling information systems (Petri nets); scheduling a set of project activities (CPM, PERT); information systems for directors; scientific information systems (Cobiss, Wos, citations); decision support systems, one and multicriteria decision making, preference relation, utility function; decision making in groups. Internet of Things.
Understanding computer architectures; communication equipment, seven levels of ISO/OSI architecture, architecture of TCP/IP protocol, comparing both protocols, secure protocols (ssh, ssl, https); cloud computing; data coding and protection, cryptography (Cesar's algorithm, symmetric algorithms, privat key, DES, asymmetric algorithms, algorithms with public key, RSA); communication channel, noisy channels, detecting and correcting errors (parity control, Hamming distance).
