The forming of contemporary social psychology - Historical overview ;paradigm; theoretical pluralism in psychology. Cognitive processes and construction of the social world - basic cognitive processes included in the social world construction. Social comparison between groups; social categorization and social identity. Forming of stereotypes as a biased catego-rization of the world. Psychology of social influence, social power – socialpsychological dimensions of influence. Psychology of attitudes and prejudices – forming and influencing/changing of attitudes, attitudes’ influence on behavior; psychological characteristics of prejudices and discrimination; early socialization and prejudices, personality factors in prejudices. Psychology of groups and psychological processes in a group – igroup structure, structure of roles, communication and emotion; group dynamic;Psychology of social interaction.
