Short content
The course informs students about sociological and social-historical characteristics of construction of privacy and gender in modern Western societies. Students learn about and reflect on the main theoretical perspectives in this field, with a special emphasis on the development of modern privacy, especially development of relationship between private and public in European societies, gender construction of privacy and modern trends in the field of privacy, family, intimacy and partnership, reproduction, sexuality etc.
