The course deals with crucial concepts of journalism ethics, a model of systematic moral reasoning based on three ethical approaches, professional journalistic values, norms and conventions, and particularly with ethical dilemmas caused by the collision between the freedom of expression and the right to privacy. A theoretical insight into the chosen topics is combined with case studies from the contemporary Slovenian journalism practice.
