Short content
Theoretical definition of NPOs and their placement within the society: NPOs in the service of public interest; public NPOs vs. private NPOs; theories on the role and importance of NPOs; Slovene NPOs in international comparative perspective; trends in the development of NPOs in the last decades. Principles of leadership and management of NPOs: definition of mission and the role of board of directors; transformation of mission into vision and the role of executive leadership; ethic of leadership and management of NPO; strategic and action planning in NPO; marketing in NPO; management of NPO within public concession agreements; design and management of fundraising programmes; human resource management in NPO: leaders and managers, employees and volunteers.
