Short content
specificities of newsrooms and roles of radio employees, as well as through forms of radio journalism. The latter is of a significant importance, as one of the main scopes of the course is to teach students the genre and stylistic features of radio informative, interpretative and two-way journalistic forms. Besides gaining knowledge of the characteristics of both sound media and radio speech students also learn about the roles of radio journalist, editor, anchor and presenter as well as about emerging hybrid radio job profiles. The course also focuses on the relationship between the radio and the new media as well as on the relationship between newsrooms and radio audiences, which in recent years has gained further interactive complexity. At the course students learn about the development of radio as a technology and as media, as well as about its contemporary position and role in the world of media convergence. Students get familiar with the types of radio programmes (public, local, regional, commercial, community and alternative): through their financing and regulation, radio formats and schemes.
