The course covers four aspects of diplomatic and consular relations: -the history of diplomacy (from its blueprints to the 21st century); -the structure of diplomacy (bilateral, plurilateral and multilateral diplomacy; different topics in diplomacy); -Diplomatic and consular law (its development, purpose and functions); -protocol and ceremonial; -diplomatic practice.
