Short content

Intercultural communication is presented as a multi-layered praxis: first, in regards to establishing dynamic and active contacts and mutual voluntary communication between cultures of nations and ethnic groups on the basis of cultural and/or ethnical pluralism; secondly, in regards to the process of fluctuation, whereby every culture in contact absorbs elements of other cultures while maintaining own integrity and autonomy; thirdly, in regards to reflective understanding of own particular culture patterns and identification and comprehension of cultural patterns of others, which goal is to establish predicaments for mutual comparison and emphatic understanding of differences in interpersonal and intercultural interactions.
