Short content

Course consists of four parts. In the first one, the Balkans will be defined through its six main dimension: geographical, historical, political, cultural, socio-psychological and symbolic. Second part will cover methodological specificity of researches of the Balkans. In the third part ideology of the Balkanism and its concrete consequences will be critically and detailly analysed. Fourth part will deal with longitudinal overview of the Balkan history, with the special emphasis on the last two centuries.
