Short content

The course presents historical development of parliamentarism and representation as the main institutions of modern representative democracy as well as importance and role of parliaments in policy-making processes, also in the European Parliament. Due to strong connection between parliaments and governments in modern representative democracies special attention is devoted to characteristics of the connection, formation, organization and activity of governments as well as to their internal life.
