Welcome to more than 70 new exchange students
On Thursday, 15 February 2018, the Faculty of Social Sciences organised a Welcome Day for international students that came for their study exchange in the Spring semester of the academic year 2017/18. More than 70 students from EU-countries as well as from the countries outside the EU will do their exchange in the framework of the Erasmus+ programme or bilateral agreements.
Students were welcomed by the Vice-dean for Quality Assurance, Development and International Cooperation Dr. Samo Kropivnik. The staff of the FDV Internationals Office, the Faculty Library and the University International Office gave all the necessary information about the study at the Faculty, and about all the administrative matters that the students have to sort out. The students’ representatives (ŠOU-ESN and FDV tutors) introduced themselves and informed the students about the student life in Ljubljana and all the activities they are offering to the international students.
The students also learned about all the possible extracurricular activities that are offered by the University of Ljubljana. The Welcome Day ended with the faculty tour and the informal gathering in the lobby of the Faculty.
Everyone welcomed the students and wished them an unforgettable exchange experience and a lot of success with their studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences.
