Teorija in praksa 3/2021

The third regular issue of the Teorija in praksa journal comprises 10 articles. Through the series of 5 articles, the Slovenian thematic section, entitled The challenges of Covid-19 pandemic in distance work and edited by the visiting editor Marjan Hočevar, presents the results of conceptual and empirical approaches to research that, in the widest sense, indicates its temporary redirection to the concrete and burning issue of the Covid-19 pandemic. The articles foreground the newly raised questions about the relationship between space and society in terms of the organisation of life and work, mobility and migration, urbanism, environmental issues and education.

The section of five English articles includes the analyses of: the social characteristics of the first sexual intercourse in high school students in Slovenia; reciprocity in the perception of telecare within pairs of informal carers and older people; estimate of the relationships between the Covid-19 pandemic and the trends of globalisation (GLO) and deglobalisation (de-GLO); the link between migrations and jihadi terrorism in Europe; and the spatial conflict in the Ljubljana residential neighbourhood of Rožna dolina.
