FDV co-organizes the international conference "Global Trends in Business Practices and Management Education" in Bhubaneswar, India
On January 24-25, representatives of the Faculty of Social Sciences, prof. dr. Aleksandra Kanjuo Mrčela, prof. dr. Igor Lukšič and M.Sc. Maša Kolenbrand attends the international conference "Global Trends in Business Practices and Management Education". More than 250 academics, researchers, students, government officials and entrepreneurs from 13 countries attended the conference, held in Bhubaneswar, India, co-organized by the partner university Birla Global University (BGU) and the Faculty of Social Sciences.
More than 50 speakers presented their experience and research findings and discussed global trends in business and management education. The conference brought together academics / researchers and practitioners and offered an opportunity to discuss and exchange views on the latest trends, needs and challenges and challenges facing businesses.
The participants were addressed by dean prof. dr. Monica Kalin Golob via video. Prof. dr. Kanjuo Mrčela made a presentation at the conference entitled "Managerial and Employment Practices in IT Industries: A Global Game Change" by prof. dr. Igor Lukšič made a contribution in the Global Trends in Management Education section with the contribution Education of Manegers for Felxible Identities and Quick Changes. As keynote speakers, dr. Kanjuo Mrčela and dr. Luksic also opened and concluded a successful conference.
FDV representatives also visited the campus of partner university BGU and met with their representatives and agreed on further cooperation between the two institutions and future joint projects in the field of research, scientific publications, student and staff exchange and other joint projects.
