done will take place on Thursday, December 12 in FDV-14 at 4.00 PM. The lecture is organised as a part of the course International Protection of Environment.
The second part of the lecture will take place on Thursday, 9 January at 4.15 PM in lecture room 14.
Dr. Lučka Kajfež Bogataj, Professor Emeritus, full professor of agrometeorology at the Biotechnical Faculty, has for more than 40 years been a dedicated educator and researcher in the fields of applied meteorology, biometeorology and climatology, and is one of the pioneers of climate change research in Slovenia. She has won numerous awards, and together with members of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and Al Gore was a recipient of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize. She has enjoyed especially outstanding achievements in the area of popularising science and raising awareness about environmental issues.
