Lecture by H.E. Theresa P. Lazaro: Introduction to the Philippines, ASEAN and Philippine Foreign Policy

The lecture Introduction to the Philippines, ASEAN and Philippine Foreign Policy by  H.E. Theresa P. Lazaro, Undersecretary (Vice Minister) of the Republic of the Philippines will take place on Thursday, February 6, at 12.00 in lecture room 14. There will be a discution after the lecture.

Undersecretary Lazaro oversees the Philippines’ bilateral relations with its international partners as well as engagement at Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).  She co-chairs the Philippines-China Bilateral Consultation Mechanism (BCM) meeting on the South China Sea with a view to manage differences at sea, foster mutual understanding and confidence-building measures, and advance the peaceful settlement of the South China Sea issue.

The event is organised by the Chair of International Relations, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia and with the student association Globallis.
