International summer school on EU Foreign Policy & Democracy Support

Where: Faculty of Social Sciences, Kardeljeva ploščad 5, 1000 Ljubljana

When: July 3 – July 12, 2023

The international summer school is intended for all students who wish to further specialize in the areas of theories of democracy, theories of democratization, theories of authoritarianism and the role of the EU in promoting democracy. We especially invite master's degree students and doctoral students who are interested in the promotion, support and decline of democracy and the EU's foreign policy. Older undergraduates are also welcome, but must show an interest in the field.

As part of the summer school, numerous lectures, round tables and seminars will be organized where students will be able to present their ongoing research projects to various expert groups. In addition, the summer school offers courses on general skills such as academic writing, writing policy briefs, funding applications, etc.

To apply, students of the Faculty of Social Sciences must fill in the application form, which is available on the website: https://mordorproject.eu/how-to-apply/.

The application deadline will be extended until the beginning of April.
