Discussion: How is Europe equipped to face the challenges of the future – Enlargement, reforms and youth perspectives
Discussion entitled How is Europe equipped to face the challenges of the future –
Enlargement, reforms and youth perspectives will take place on 28 November at 17.00 in Grand Hall of Faculty of Social Sciences.
The event will bring together insights from three EU member states on the future of the
European Union, as it faces increasingly complex global challenges due to structural changes in the world economy, climate change, technological shifts and a deteriorating security situation in its neighbourhood. We are in a period of geopolitical uncertainty in which the EU must prepare for future enlargement.
The debate will focus on the next steps in the EU enlargement process to the Western
Balkans and Eastern Europe, as the new EU institutional cycle begins. Participants will
explore how both the EU and the future member states can best prepare for the next phase of enlargement to ensure that a larger Union is also a stronger one, both internally and on the global stage.
To attend this event you need to register before Monday 25 November 2024.
