The book "Before the Market: The Political Economy of Olympianism" successfully presented in EARL premises

On Tuesday, 18th of September 2018, the Chinese author dr. Donni Wang successfuly presented her new book "Before the Market: The Political Economy of Olympianism" (Common Ground, 2018) on Tuesday, 18th of September 2018 in East Asia Resource Library (EARL) premises.

Dr. Wang took a different approach to the linear observations of historical development of capitalism, developing an interesting model that uses also social relations to explain the economic life of ancient Greece. She provided the audience with a detailed explanation of political economy and identity formation in the mentioned historical period that gives us the insights on the economic crises arising in 21st century.
