Dr. Zlatko Šabič, DG of the EARL, met Mr Hiroyasu Ando, the President of the Japan Foundation

On 17 January 2018, Professor Zlatko Šabič, DG of the EARL, was in Tokyo, where he had an honour to be met by the President of the Japan Foundation, Mr Hiroyasu Ando. He thanked the President for the crucial support of the Foundation in the early start of the Japan section of the EARL and briefed him on recent developments, plans, and vision of the EARL. President Ando underscored that the initial support of the Japan Foundation to the EARL fits well into the mission of the Foundation, to "cultivate friendship and ties between Japan and the world.” DG Šabič assured President Ando that the EARL will do its utmost best to justify the trust put into it by the Japan Foundation.
