After the lecture “A World Transformed – Reflections on the International System, China and Global Development” former President of the Republic of Slovenia, dr. Danilo Türk, visited the EARL

On Monday 19 December 2022, a roundtable discussion on the dynamic changes in the international community took place in the Great Hall of the FDV. The event was organised by the Friendship and Cooperation Group with the People's Republic of China (SPiS Kitajska), which is part of the International Relations Student Association at FDV Globallis, and the guest speaker was dr. Danilo Türk, former President of the Republic of Slovenia (2007-2012), Ambassador to the UN (1999-2000), including during Slovenia's membership of the UN Security Council, and UN Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs (2000-2005). The esteemed guest, who is also an Emeritus Professor at the University of Ljubljana, visited the EARL and discussed opportunities for further co-operation between him and the EARL Research Unit in particular.
